Katie offers yoga to all ages, levels and abilities. She focuses on longer holds to establish strength, inner wisdom, and self-compassion.

You can expect hands-on assists or personalized feedback to find balance and help you feel at ease. Katie also offers 1:1 private yoga.

Yoga with Katie.
Katie McNamara started teaching yoga in 2015. First informed by a Hatha-Vinyasa teacher in Vermont, John McConnell was the source of positive growth in her practice and encouraged the training cohort to “first, see the good” in all students who show up to the practice. Katie continued her yoga studies when she returned from serving in the Peace Corps (Namibia) and looked to Ashtanga Yoga Practitioners to become grounded in a routined practice. The Ashtanga self-practice was especially helpful to stay grounded during the pandemic, and Katie shared her love of the practice online with her community.
After completing 500 hours of training, she craved more knowledge of the yoga foundations and expanded her trainings in Yin Yoga, Rocket Yoga, as well as Kids Yoga.



Katie is currently teaching yoga in Southern Vermont. You can practice from afar by joining her on Patreon, or book a retreat in person, Oct 1-4 in Brattleboro, VT!
